I read somewhere that we all have two gifts. If that is true, my two gifts are to see into and record a sincere world. Professionally, this shows up by working as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Freelance Documentary Photographer. To me, they speak to the archetypes of a Storykeeper and Storyteller. Both provide me with an often very intimate and honest understanding of what it means to be alive.
I am a third-generation photographer living in Northwest Montana. Born in Saudi Arabia as the son of an engineer and a teacher, my upbringing involved extensive travel, fostering a curiosity about the "other." I remember being fascinated by my father’s cameras and never being allowed to touch them. Looking back, it was probably a well-founded rule. I credit this for igniting my passion.
This ultimately led to a BFA in photography and a life-long love of the art form. More than 20 years have gone by since graduation. Looking back, I reflect on just what a curvy and unbelievable path life takes.
At my core, I want my work to portray how wild, messy, simple, and perfect this life can be. I know the power of photography to help us understand each other and our world. I want my work to be a reflection of our collective self, cause moments of pause, and champion the good stuff that is everywhere around us.

To me wedding photography with a blend of artistry and authenticity. Drawing from my background as a Documentary photographer and observer, I aim to capture the genuine moments, emotions, and connections that make your wedding day uniquely yours.
